We are absolutely coming back. We stayed for one night and it just wasn't enough. The food was fantastic, the views - breathtaking. We never stay at the same hotel twice - The Bringewood has convinced us to break this tradition.

We love the countryside around Ludlow - perfect for walking and mountain biking - and to discover such lovely accomodation in a perfect setting, with glorious food and views, topped by wonderful hosts in Neil and his team. To all the staff at the Bringewood, thanks for a great weekend. After the labyrinthine nature of the drive, the calm & tranquil atmosphere of your hotel is a lovely surprise. The meals were a suberb addition to the weekend - topped-off by my asking Sue to marry me! She said yes, so we will always have a special reminder of the time we stayed. Thanks again.

We had our wedding here on 3rd May 2008 and they made our day the best day of our lives.We went back up there on Friday 1st May 2009 for an anniversary meal and also stopped the night and it was just as good as we remembered.Neil and his staff made us feel so welcome on both occasions and we would recommend this place for both a wedding and for leisure. We're just trying to think of a reason/occasion so we can go back there again soon.

What an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Our room was lovely, the setting exquisite and the food to die for. Stylish but not pretentious and everyone was very friendly. Thankyou- we will be back!

Dear Stephen and Neil We stayed in the Granary on the 1 Oct and are writing to thank you. The bottle of sparkling wine in our room was most thoughtful. We loved the location and our room was excellent. We eat out a lot and although it is now "trendy" for restaurants advertise their English style food and cooking, the reality is, they rarely are. However, the Chef at Bringewood most definately is and he has a brilliant touch in the kitchen, we shall be back. Thank you Peter and Linda Gold

When we read the reviews on The Bringewood website, we did wonder if the 5 out of 5 ratings where a little exaggerated. We were more than pleasantly surprised to find that this was not the case. The hotel was superb, with quality furnishings throughout. The surrounding views from the hotel are amazing. Steve and Neil, our hosts, were friendly, jovial and very helpful. They could not do enough for us. The restaurant food was probably the best that we have ever tasted and the staff were wonderful. Well done and many thanks to them all. As I told Steve and Neil, I will write this begrudgingly, as I wished to keep this place a secret, because the more people get to know about The Bringewood, the less chance I might get to book a room!! This place was amazing! What a find! It was so peaceful, the setting was tranquil. You really are in the middle of nowhere but yet close enough to enjoy what the local larger towns have to offer. The accomodation was perfect, the food was exquisite, the only problem we had was leaving the next day. Will definitely go back.

We stayed for 2 nights and wished it was more. Neil and his staff made an excellent hotel into a fantastic weekend, they are attentive without being in your face, freindly, relaxed and somehow just always there when you need more drinks, eats, information, discussion or help. The building has been superbly converted with great attention to detail, the workmanship and fitxtures and fittings that have been used are spot on. The views are superb, completely uninterupted top class English countryside, a great sun trap of a terrace lets you take full advantage, we spent the whole of Saturday afternoon basking in the sun, reading the papers and drinking a very nice Stowford Press cider. It is a very long way from anywhere, so we decided to stay in for both nights and were rewarded with great local food, served piping hot and full of flavour. Go here if you are looking for a relaxed, informal, cosy (but not dusty and tired like some places we have stayed) weekend away. We have already booked our next stay. Can't wait

Thanks Neil and Steve for a really great stay and genuinely warm hospitality. The shooting was good but the black pudding was even better! As I said when we left though, the only dilemma is 'do we tell our friends how good it is?'. Looking forward to a second visit.

My two young teenage daughters and I recently spent a short break at The Bringewood. I can add little to the comments already written by previous guests. A fabulous location, beautiful building, quality furnishings, wonderful food and last but not least, Neil made us feel so welcome. Everything had a real 'WOW' factor, very justly deserved. Your location is something to be treasured but your success will be due to the way you both treat your guests. Reading these reviews BEFORE our visit to The Bringewood and seeing all the 5/5 scores, it all seemed too good to be true.........but it's not!! We had an absolutely perfect weekend and didn't want to leave. The whole place is beautifully renovated and furnished, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the views are fabulous. Many thanks to Neil and Stephen and also to the chef, who kindly prepared a special meal for Liz (a fussy eater!) Can't wait to visit again!

The wonderful location and relaxed atmosphere at The Bringewood made Oliver's christening a day to remember. The buffet was first class (particuarly the venison sausages!)and Neil, Stephen and Pippa were professional and friendly (felt like I had known them for years). So relaxing that we decided to stay and enjoy a peaceful nights sleep before taking breakfast on the patio with the picture postcard backdrop of the rolling Herefordshire/Shropshire countryside.
